Game Synopsis:
Chrono Trigger begins with the festival celebrating the 1000th commemoration of founding of Guardia Kingdom. Chrono, the main character, meets Marl, a girl, there. They walk around the town together and see the demonstration of a new teleportation device that is invented by Lucca, Chrono's old friend. However, the machine goes out of control and Marl disappears through a strange portal. Chrono asks to be sent through the machine to find her and discovers he travels back 400 years....
